Murphy's Law, located at 409 West Congress Street, is downtown Savannah's newest pub. It opened its doors on St. Patrick's Day by the owners of Finnegan's Wake Pub, also on Congress Street. The pub has a happy hour Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 pm that features $1 well drinks and $1.50 domestic bottles. They also offer a Friday happy hour with discounted drinks and a free buffet. Also, look for their Working Woman's Wednesday with $1 off lunch and a free tea, soda or coffee for the ladies. Wednesday night is Trivia Night from 9 to 11 pm with prizes. Savannah’s newest pub opened its doors at the corner of Victory Drive and Abercorn Street, and is Midtown’s only true neighbourhood pub. According to their web site, CaledonianPub.com: “Where else can you go to drink in Ardsley Park, Baldwin Park or Thomas Square? The area has been crying out for a local [pub] for years.” The cavernous pub’s main feature is not surprisingly, its bar, however there does seem to be ample seating, a pool table and some very nice restrooms.
